The light from heaven
My spark of life
Will burn in her each day
Our dreams and plans will all come true
For only this I pray.

Watch over her and cuddle her
With your holy guidance clean
Though both our ways are different now
Your messages are seen.

In body far, in spirit close
For this my thanks, Dear Lord
Though oceans lie so far between
We're near of this accord.

The sun that shines on me today
So shines on her apart
And if I want to feel her love
The sun shall warm my heart.

Then bless my wife for blessed is she
And this I'll say each day
For having her my deepest thanks
